Saturday war auch güt (was also good)! It was a beautiful morning, starting with coffee and sunshine. I taught Robin Williams from SCP Paper. Then strolling through town, after too many cups of coffee ☕️ ☕️ ☕️, I had the idea come to my fore-mind (from its lingering in the back) of spending a week in Paris anyway!
Since I won’t be living there (in Paris) this time, why not go and get it out of my system for now? I even checked for a Paris book 📕 at the English bookshop to see if there would be affordable lodgings for a week. There are!
On the way home, I got the idea of inviting Helen to join me there. We had already discussed a Paris trip, before I decided to do this teaching thing. So I wrote her and invited her! (She gets back from Hawaii this week!)
Coffee, Sunshine and Good Mood
I was in such a good mood and the sun 🌞 was shining. I even had a beer with my lunch and wrote 12 or more long overdue postcards. Then I went to email (at the Internet cafe) and rushed to Calenetics for the class I enjoy on Saturday evenings.
On Sunday I relaxed and had a killer leisure day. Now I’ve been able to enjoy my weekends, as I value the time alone, knowing it will not last forever. In fact yesterday I made up my mind to leave Kosice May 15, when I go to pick up mom and dad; and not to come back here for the one or two weeks after their trip. I’ve decided to move on.
It’s hardly worth it financially, time-wise, or any other way you look at it. I’d have to venture three days out here from Munich, then turn around and go back to Vienna 10 days later.
