  • Paris with Helen

We decided for our next stop to be, lo and behold, Printemps and Galleries Lafayette, which we stood in line for a taxi to whisk us over there. The crowded Blvd. Haussman was bustling with more shoppers than tourists, as we wound our way from block to block of the monstrous stores. It was awesome and great, the avant-garde selection! I relocated and bought the pale blue Kipling bag and we found Helen’s apricot lipstick too. It was a fun wonderful atmosphere. The bedding and linen department (aside from the endless extensive lingerie floor) was out of bounds, especially the Kenzo awesome section! Brights and to-die-for dishes, glassware, and ceramics as far as the eye can see. We were good. So, it was nearing time to eat again, as we caught a cab back to Hotel de Senelis, where we had https://paris-hotel-senlis.com the go-ahead to spend the next two nights, and

We went swimming but came back in 5 or

  • The China Journals

Looking for Wine in China Today we just literally hung around the house all day and went swimming in the afternoon. In the evening, I walked up to the market in quest of a bottle of wine. It was so hot and humid. As I walked it got dark and I used my mag light on the way back, much to the amazement of many Chinese. I was being briskly passed by all sorts of bicycles pulling and carrying various loads, children and adults walking and peeing; trucks, buses and carts. Crazy, a busy dark street without lights. None of the bicycles have lights either. There are however about three other foreigner compounds I pass on the way, and a brand new golf course. The market has a large selection of California wines, but I managed to find a red and a Chardonnay "Dragon Seal" Chinese wine recommended by Lucille. I also
