This a.m. first thing, I had Mr. Manusek again, then I had a new business English student named Peter. Business English lessons are my favorite. We did wholesale, distributor, retail, inventory, etc. as it applied to his company SCP Paper, (currently in 1999) the largest producer and distributor of paper in Eastern Europe. It was really good for both of us. I enjoy teaching advanced level business lessons, and he was able to apply the lesson directly to his work. I always thought I liked structured things, but I rather prefer the unstructured lessons – using the book only as reference.

Then I taught Anka, a housewife. We did a skit on getting promoted to the sakes department. How practical.

I mentioned to Zuska that I enjoyed the Business Supplement class, and she said she’ll give me more of those. (Unfortunately including Sat. when we were planning on hitting the Warhol Museum.) Previously, only one teacher -Gerard had experience and was teaching business lessons. I enjoy this niche.

Right now I’m watching a show on Prima Czech TV 📺 about a man dressed as a woman. It’s a German show that’s on every week.

Today it was biting and windy cold. I emailed and went to Tesco. During my break, I was very inspired (the sun ☀️ was shining and I had coffee ☕️ and peanut M & M’s) to get five ideas each for (an article) series in GBR and Costume Design magazines.

I ended the day thinking about how good it is to have a friend as true as Dagmar, so close and eager to arrange plans. I have to let her know how much I appreciate her.
