On Turkish Airlines

The captain said welcome children

And each child got a cute dark skin dark curly hair doll in a muslin bag

And a small leather Turkish Arline’s backpack 🎒

Walking around Istanbul airport was moderate

Mostly flat and smooth with some escalators and moving walkways

Must be able to follow directions without getting distracted

Departure Gates are empirical looking like a temple entrance

At first I thought the were all lounge entrances

The airport is enormous with loads of Muslim people and

Internationals from all over the world

It’s a true crossroads of western and eastern worlds

I almost bought some Turkish perfumes box at the duty free

But didn’t spend my last Turkish Lire TL -and then some extra.

The food was good on our short flight from Athens to Istanbul

We received a surprise meal

My veggie meal was a hummus tray with fresh avocado slice, and a mango piece. That’s vegetarian.

Meanwhile they just passed out the menu on our long flight

And it’s looking good! Home made lemonata with fresh mint. Mock tails! Homemade Gnocchi, and chocolate cake. Way better experience and flight situation than Delta for sure!

Well that was a false alarm. The gnocchi failed to appear and the other food was sub- par.
