First Day of Spring in London

We went on our tour with the city guide. Saw tea houses for the cab drivers. Abby where a nun was teaching English school boys, and a girl from our tours asked them a question! The nun had told us, “Ssshhh. We’re studying the Abby.”

The town was London alive! Went shopping and looking and walking ALL over Knightsbridge! The stores are humongous and very different. Shopping in London is a disco adventure with clothes you can buy! Got some red London shoes! We had a fun time on the tube! Real, real great taking photos and fun.

London at Night

Colder nice! Piccadilly Circus

We ran about for 1 1/2 hours. Met two New York punks, a London rocker girl, and locals near Soho. Finally got to Hard Rock Cafe- ate, drank, and were seven very merry Californians!

Then we were recommended to go to the Beat Rouge Club on Greek Street – and danced with locals – what a blast and very British! We then took a cab home – our numbers dwindling all night. Cabbie rides are tremendously fun and English in every sense. Brian and I had 3:30 A.M. tea in the lobby, watching our friends come stumbling in.
