Living on Three Continents

I didn’t set out to live on three continents in one year. It just happened organically. Started with live- in boyfriend of years, wanting to get his own place for a while. I took it to the extreme and landed myself in Eastern Europe in a cold, snowy winter, teaching English.

Then by multiple circumstances, I was invited to move to 1999 Shanghai with my good friends and their family, who are Austrian diplomats. That was the most amazing experience.

My experiences went from excitement to loneliness, and included a lot of introspection. I had time for pondering my past, and figuring out my future.
