Before the rug trap, we went on our daily excursion. This was one to remember! Wow! We had no expectations and it turned out to blow us away and be the best!

Pictures speak a thousand words, and I took a thousand pictures.

It was walking through the ancient shopping center of the old city of Ephesus. Here’s my notes:

Dogs laid in conglomerate underneath a shade tree, like they had nowhere to go, nothing to do. Cats casually strolled and strutted among the ruins of Ephesus as we made the journey through the amazing landscape.

Our guide informed us that the cats and dogs belong to everyone. Unless they have a collar tag. He said they are spade and neuter which is marked by a clipping in the ears. Everyone feeds them which is why they are not skinny. Then there are petbulances to take them to the pet hospital if they are sick or get hurt.
