Wow! March is nearly over. I have finally got adjusted to the point where I can enjoy, relax, and take the days at ease. I don’t need to go to Tesco, as I feel relaxed just hanging out and being lazy at home. I’ve realized that this is a limited time opportunity, and I best live it fully, day by day.

This a.m. I was the only one at school (Berlitz). I had Peter Krett from SCP Paper. We did a good business discussion lesson on the personnel department and advertising. He is manager of the marketing department and they had a real job opening, which worked out perfectly. We interviewed, I applied, and the position really sounded good- to do market research on the Eastern European countries, their biggest market. The job included a company car, pc, cell phone, and 20 days paid holiday. I was even qualified. I was tempted. It was pretend, but almost real too.

After class I prepared for Monday, had fresh coffee ☕️, and the rolls Yvetta (the driver’s wife) had sent me at school on Friday. I wrote a nice thank you note to her and Jan (the driver) and she sent me a package of sweet rolls. How nice!

I went to Dargou and had bad passport photos taken for my ID card. Insert photo here…

Then chased two shop clerks around, trying to get a perfume sample.

At home, I read, and started to write some Slovak reflections for publication. It must chill in the back of my mind before it festers its way out and onto paper. Writing is a definite process. I wrote to the family, stayed up late, and went to bed.
