Even this train was packed but very comfortable and modern; quite different than the Slovak trains. Automatic opening glass doors between the cars, wheelchair space, smooth ride, clean windows…

I talked to an Austrian man who worked on trains as a supervisor; while the seat mate was in the Speise Wagon eine ganz drei Stunden. Then I let a nun sit there, and she came back and kicked the nun out! I didn’t like her, as she was speaking patronizing English to me.

At the Salzburg stop, I started speaking German to the black woman also traveling to Münich. We sat in a car with an Asian woman too, all speaking German. (Like the French girl too, we spoke in German.) The black woman was Janet, from Brazil actually. We carried on an interesting convo über (about) men, marriage, having a fun life, traveling, dancing…

Janet loves travel too, and especially Thailand. She was advising me not to marry, as the relationship changes when you do. For her, her husband stopped her from going out dancing or with friends and stopped bringing her flowers, etc.

Michael was there at the Bahnhof to pick me up. He was just back from a trip to Salzgitter for the family reunion. We walked by the pension for mom and dad on the way to his flat. After being gone for four days, Michael finally (hat ganz einfach gekocht) totally simply cooked. We had a delicious pasta sauce with bow tie pasta and a killer fresh green Salat (salad)!

We sampled the Madeira wine he brought from his (Portugal 🇵🇹) vacation and had a nice Chianti. We looked at the pictures from our Slovakia Castle Hopping trip, and did the dishes, and the “pre-wash”.
