Of course, it’s a half moon 🌙 Sunday on my last day at Nordstrom. Half moon has historically been when major changes happen in my life. And that’s the night they want to take me out. They don’t call me half moon 🌙 for nothing.

Half Moon 🌙

I got two travel shots today and let them take vials of blood samples (wow) and even got an HIV test (double wow). Just feel no fear. Or feel fear and do it. Nothing will phase me now.

Half in a stupor, Jennifer from our EC team accompanied me (luckily) to inventory at Nordstrom. My last inventory. After 14 years. I felt weird and probably wasn’t even fit to drive an automobile, however I did.

At this point, its a numbing experience I’m feeling. On the psychological level I can liken it to when Grandpa Gross passed away – and I was on the plane journey out to Michigan. It’s the adrenaline that keeps you going (like working a Nordstrom sale and all bodily functions are shut off).

Life Changes

I know that my life is about to change dramatically and completely, however the repressions haven’t hit my emotions yet. That’s where I’m at. My body is just following my mind. Or vice versa. I think it’s actually vice-versa. My mind is following my body. Anyway.

I called Jemma DiVetta and had a good convo with her. Her parents are currently spending four months in Michigan, then going back to Italy. We will meet in Grand Old Europa next.

What else. I know I’m especially going to miss my brother. I always do love him. I wish him the love he deserves from a super cute and loving person. Please may he meet somebody special and kick his unhealthy lifestyle.

Probably, I’ll miss boyfriend too. And of course mom and dad. Whom I love most. I can’t wait until they come out to visit me there. We’ll have to arrange a great trip for them. We’ll still be close.

For now, goodnight. In a week, tomorrow, these will all be memories…

Oh, mom and dad and Todd are going to Vegas tomorrow. without me. While I pack and move. Smart people, boyfriend says. They were out of town the last time I moved too. They’ll be meeting the usual Gross Bunch there. I asked Todd to bet $20 on my destiny number.
