Embracing What Is

Well isn’t it interesting how life works. I was busy saving my husband’s life (then Fiancée) and now husband, and in the interim, life opened up and offered me time and space to do what I love. For the first time, I was able to have the space and time to focus on my writing. And boy, are there a lot of writings I have already done throughout my love of adventure and travel.

Life opened to me being able to do outgoing things again, such as attending a Writer’s Conference in Liberty Station last fall. I attended a workshop with a speaker who inspired me to get my author site set up and running. That inspiration was just what I needed, to carry on with my writing career. It has been fledgling since I left to go live in Slovakia, back in 1999.

This gave me the chance to actually sit back and read what I’ve written, and start to curate the content. Most of the posts, are raw from my journals, at this point. I do plan to chronologically arrange and publish the journals. However, mostly at this point, it is a real joy and a relaxing pastime I enjoy, looking back at my follies and adventures.

Thankful and lucky am I to have so many good friends that I made these memories with, and to still have and cherish most of the friendships.
