Hubby and I had been bragging about our favorite restaurants – which you’ll know if you know us – when we received the recommendation to try the amazing Supernatural Seafood Sandwiches. We’d not heard of it and will travel for food – so up to Mira Mar we went.

Hubby ordered the Neptune sandwich, with scallops and bacon 🥓 yum, sounded and looked delicious. It was a lot of bread, so he only ate half of the sandwich and took the other half home.

It was a hard decision because everything sounded and looked so good. I ordered the Encantado Cod Sandwich, which makes my mouth water just thinking about Cod. Sadly, however the sandwich was lacking, it was a lot of bun, and not much cod.

We ordered Triton smothered fries which sounded and looked amazing, but actually were not. What we received looked nothing like the picture and contained few little shrimp.

They had very small scallops on them and a delicious sauce. We picked at them and took the most home. A few days later, after picking off the scallops and sticking them in the air fryer with a handful of fries they were thrown out.

The side-served rice crisps sounded fantastic and I was salivating, excited to taste them, but alas when I saw – and tried them I realized that they were the rice crispy things I‘ve had before and don’t care for.

Would we go back? No. Not even if we’re in the area.
