Continue sightseeing in Vienna -Weinerschnitzle and Sacher Torte

… Each had a White Wine gespritzed …and ordered a mixed cucumber 🥒 and potato salad. Mom had mixed, dad potato, and me the cukes. Excellent from the tuxedoed, head – and only waiter completely in control (don’t mess up his orders!) who probably opened the place; to the wood paneling and butcher block tables. Authentic Viennese atmosphere and the rhythmic pounding of the meat in the kitchen to the loud, quick shouting out how many schnitzels, gespritzed, and what types of salad.

Then we sauntered fully, over to the recommended café, right around the corner, for a selection of take-out cakes, for an evening celebration. These included but were not limited to, a piece of Sacher Torte.

As the afternoon was running on, we made our way over to the Schloss Belvedere, passing by many embassies on the way. And also a sales clerk redoing a window display, who didn’t want to give us directions. Dad tried again however, and we did manage to locate the right street.

Soon as we found the massive Belvedere, mom took us on a mission to locate a secret painting. We were soon to find out that it was recommended by both Jan and Jim as completely resembling Todd!

We couldn’t find it however, as the permanent collection was moved, due to an “America” exhibition. Jan had even told mom in which room, on what wall, the painting 🖼️ was located. So we scanned the museum anyway, as well as the gift shop, to find his likeness of Todd. We bought a postcard which may be the one, but it is doubtful.
